Can't believe how well we slept considering the rocking and rolling we were doing. By early evening yesterday we were an hour and a half late primarily because two people got kicked off the train. We think one was for smoking but don't know about the other one.
By 6 am this morning we had made up the time and were on schedule. Let's hope it lasts through tomorrow morning.
This train from Chicago to Los Angeles travels 2265 miles in approximately 40 hours, so an average speed of 56 mph.
Very relaxing day today watching the changing scenery while listening to music, stories and podcasts.
Looking forward to getting home tomorrow although it's going to feel funny having to cook and clean again <grin>.
