Last day on board!
Well, today was the day to pack the bags and get them outside the
stateroom by 8 pm.
Didn’t do a whole lot during the day other than pack and have a
nap. We did go to see “Grand Budapest
Hotel”, an interesting and comedic adventure.
Then it was time for dinner.
There are four assigned dining rooms; our assigned room was the
Britannia Restaurant which is a magnificent two level restaurant and we had
several meals in there. There is also a
food court which has a variety of buffets throughout the day; plus there are
bars & lounges that will serve lunch.
There are four special restaurants also; an English pub, an Italian, Chinese
and Indian restaurant. Tonight we tried
out the Indian food which was a new experience for us. It was wonderful. When we went to order we chose an appetizer
and were told we were going to get all of them so just order an entrée and side
dish. Okay. Amazing.
Here is a photo of the appetizer dish along with the four sauces to try
on the various dishes.
After dinner we went back to the Royal Court Theatre to see the
pianists Worbey & Farrell with their new show. Great fun.
They did a Skype performance with the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra.
We have seen quite a few boats today, showing that we are close to
land. We are getting very excited now
that we know that about 4 am we will be able to see Cornwall. We are supposed to dock at 6:30 am and we
have been assigned to disembark at 9:30.
We have a taxi to the car rental and then we have to decide which
direction we will go.
Sending love R/P
